Bill Burnett has created dozens of cartoons over the years. He won an Emmy for his writing on Curious George in 2010, was the co-Creator and Executive Producer of Nickelodeon’s hit series ChalkZone, and was the head writer on Cartoon Network’s wild and wacky Cow and Chicken. We decided to start our ReNuMi Facial Sculpting spot off with a few seconds of animation that shows, metaphorically, how seemingly dead skin can be brought back to life.
He was known as “Mad’s Maddest Artist”, a legendary cartoonist from a legendary magazine. These VH-1 spots represent the only time Martin’s work was animated with his direct participation. The visuals were taken from one of his books, “Don Martin Steps Out.” We captured the essence of his strange genius, AND made a hardworking spot for what was then the Baby Boomer’s MTV. Nice.
The bumpers for our Monette’s House of Yoga instructional video were these supple, subtle, simple animations depicting the animal movements that Yoga is based on. Smooth.
